If you are always on the go like me, you would love to know some quick pizza recipes that won’t take much of your time and healthy at the same time. And of course on a budget.
This pizza saves my busy life schedule, made in less than 12 mins, very healthy and costs less than $10.
Making the pizza sauce
Making pizza sauce is very quick and easy. All you need are a blender and a bit of everything you like. Normally I made lots of sauce and refrigerate it. The sauce will last in your fridge up to a month.
Here are what you will need:
- 1 – 3 olives ,
- A few peppers
- ½ chopped red capsicum
- A hand full sun-dried tomatoes
- A drop of white vinegar
- Your choice of herbs and spices
- A pinch of salt
- Garlic as you like
Pop all into the blender and blend for 3 seconds. I use the Nutribullet to make my sauce, other blender may take a bit longer. It also depends on how smooth you like your pizza sauce to be.
Making the pizza
You can buy already made pizza base that you can warm up in the oven and allow to cool before adding your ingredients. I prefer to buy the small size so that I can prepare single serve.
If you have time you can make your own 😉
Once your pizza base is cool, spread a thin layer of the pizza sauce. Then have fun with it. It’s your choice on what goes on first. I always start off with my rocket lettuce and then add the rest. You can also add more ingredients based on your taste, remember to be healthy. Trust me once you try this will be making it weekly.
- Feta cheese
All ingredients can be found at your local super market or at the markets.
Cook in the oven for 10 – 12 minutes or until your cheese is melted and the base is crispy.
